Welcome to my virtual gallery.
Artistic Articles is a virtual gallery collection of Jennifer Lockwood’s most sought-after word collages. Each of the four pieces of art included in this blog embodies Lockwood’s love for -- and fascination with -- the city she lived in at the time the art piece was created. “The City Speaks,” depicting Chicago’s famous skyline, was Lockwood’s first piece and was inspired by the city where Lockwood grew up. Her second and third collages are centered on areas in Wisconsin. “Sailing on Words” focuses on three towns surrounding Lake Geneva and “Cream City Speaks” represents her enchantment with the city of Milwaukee. Lockwood’s most recent work of art, “Words of Freedom,” illustrated in the American flag, is an indication of her patriotic spirit toward her country. All of these pieces were painstakingly made with a lot of love, research, and hard work.
